Step-by-step guides for common tasks in WEEE Manager. These guides will help you get started with the system and perform everyday operations.

Initial Setup

Before using the system, you must set up at least one of each of the following: clients, brokers, locations, fleet vehicles, staff, and waste items. Access all these settings through the Admin menu.


Adding a Client

  1. Go to
    Admin → Clients
  2. Click "Add Client"
  3. Enter required information:
    • Client Name
    • Contact Name
    • Email
    • Phone Number
    • Address
    • Postcode
    • County
    • SIC Code
    • Notes
  4. Click "Save"

Adding a Broker

  1. Go to
    Admin → Brokers
  2. Click "Add Broker"
  3. Enter required information:
    • Broker Name
    • Address
    • City
    • County
    • Postal Code
    • Registration Number
  4. Click "Save"

Adding a Location

  1. Go to
    Admin → Locations
  2. Click "Add Location"
  3. Enter required information:
    • Company Name
    • Address
    • City
    • County
    • Postal Code
  4. Click "Save"

Adding a Fleet Vehicle

  1. Go to
    Admin → Fleet
  2. Click "Add Vehicle"
  3. Enter required information:
    • Make
    • Model
    • Registration
    • MOT Date
    • Tax Date
  4. Click "Save"

Adding Staff

  1. Go to
    Admin → Staff
  2. Click "Add Staff"
  3. Enter required information:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Phone
    • Role (Staff = driver / admin = admin)
    • Active Status
    • Password
    • Confirm Password
  4. Click "Save"

Adding Waste Items

  1. Go to
    Waste → Waste Items
  2. Click "Add Waste Item"
  3. Enter required information:
    • Description
    • EWC
    • Component
    • Concentration
    • Physical
    • Code
    • This waste is hazardous (Checkbox)
  4. Click "Save"

Creating a Waste Note

  1. Go to
    Waste → Active Waste Notes
  2. Click "Create New"
  3. Complete the form:
    • Select client
    • Select waste collection bin (if applicable)
    • Select broker (if needed)
    • Select destination location
    • Select collection vehicle
    • Select collection date
    • Add waste items for collection
  4. Click "Create Waste Note"

Assigning a Waste Note

  1. On the waste notes page, locate the desired note
  2. Click the blue people icon to access the assignment page
  3. Select the Driver/Staff member to assign the job to
  4. Click "Assign Job"
